Abbeyfield House in Abbeyfield Park (S4 7AT) in Burngreave has been a place where Sheffield people have lived, worked and played since 1850
Everyone is welcome to come and take part in events at the house from 10.00 through until 16.00 and you can learn more about how this House has been, and could be part of the Burngreave community.

  • 10.00-12.00 The Tool Bank will be open. Please come along and find out what it does and what you can use
  • 12.00 -16.00 The house will be open for tours, just turn up, you’re welcome
  • 12.00 – 16.00 ‘Peoples Kitchen Pitsmoor’ will be providing delicious local refreshments and offering the chance to take part in building a cob oven for the park. There will be apple pressing and a chance to see Sheffields greatest tea towel collection while you give your views about a Peoples Kitchen for Pitsmoor!
  • 13.00 – 15.00 Guided walking tour of Burngreave‘s municipal heritage starting and finishing at Abbeyfield House.  The walk is just under 3 miles, exploring Burngreave’s past and present along the way. There are bus services back to Abbeyfield House along the way!  Wear trainers or shoes comfy for walking.  Booking not required (max 50 per tour).

Abbeyfield House is here and buses (1, 1a, 3, 20, 29, 75, 76, 83, 83a, 88) stop on Burngreave Rd and Pitsmoor Rd near Abbeyfield Park.
If you come by car there is street parking on Abbeyfield Rd.
